About #47 - 50 gulden Type 1929 Minerva
Netherlands. 1924-1943 Issues. De Nederlandsche Bank. Printer: Johan Enschedé en Zonen, Haarlem. Designer: Jacob JONGERT (1883-1942). Dimensions: 142 x 101 mm. Dates: 18.04.1929 - 18.05.1931. No security thread. Material: paper. Texts in Dutch. Description of the front: Front and back printing predominantly gray and blue. Helmeted Minerva at right. The background is composed of NB monogram and the value 50 forming circles that leave the watermark towards the outside. In field the name of the bank, the value in letters and signatures at center in black or blue. Signatures: De Secretaris, Delprat / De President, Vissering. Description of the back: Blue, green and brown. Background with guilloches patterns in repetition. A large rosette with the watermark at center. Amsterdam with the date in black at left. Series letters and banknote numbers are printed in black and repeat two time. Text of Law begin at center with: "Wetboek van Strafrecht...". The specimen is known overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red diagonally and perforated horizontally "INGETROKKEN 34 5 68". No signatures.
