Dimensions: 196 x 107 mm. Watermark with West Indian head profile left. Front and back: multicolored printing. Front: The word "GUYANA" is repeated in red and continuously in the margin around the note. The title is printed in dark blue and the values "5000" in gray. Numbering and signature are printed in black. In the center, a West Indian woman presents a basket of fruits in front of a group of palm trees on the left. One signature: The Director General: A. Postel-Vinay. Back: group of people in full harvest of sugar cane. At the bottom left, article 139 of the Penal Code is printed in a gray cartridge. Specimen of the issued note numbered 00.O - 000 with "SPECIMEN" in vertical perforations on the right and left of the sticker and a surcharge "SPECIMEN" in black printed obliquely in the upper left corner.
