Description of the front: In the foreground, a young Comorian wearing the Kofia a traditional local cap. Large basket of local fruits in front of him. Floral composition background. The texts are in French. The front is overprinted "COMOROS" in red horizontally. The wording of the issuing institute "BANQUE DE MADAGASCAR ET DES COMORES", the value in letters and numbers are printed in dark blue. The signatures and numbering are printed in black. Two variants of signatures are known with The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and The Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Description of the back: texts in French.
