Switzerland. Swiss National Bank (Schweizerische Nationalbank). Seventh issue (1983-1985). Banknote created in 1985 but not issued and kept in reserve. Work of Roger and Elisabeth Pfund. Printer: Art Institute Orell Füssli AG, Zurich. Dimensions: 181 x 82 mm. Unknown watermark. Unknown security thread. Front and back: Multicolored print predominantly brown and orange. Front: multicolored graphic background composed of cellular tissue and in the foreground on the right, a portrait of the doctor, naturalist and poet "Albrecht von Haller (1708-1777)". The SNB's translation texts are printed in brown and in two languages: German and Italian. The numeral value "500" is printed in the center of the vignette and repeated four times in small in dark green and purple. On the outside of the illustration, the three vertical bars in relief are intended to facilitate the recognition of the note by the blind. The signatures are printed in brown. Two variants of signatures with the President of the Bank Council and the Director. On the back: multicolored graphic background representing X-ray of a human thorax. In the foreground, an anatomy plate of the eighteenth century. The value "500" is repeated four times in small in red and purple. In the thumbnail at the top, bottom and sides, the BNS texts are printed in brown in two languages: French and Italian. The banknote number is printed in green and black.
