Portrait of Stadhouder/King William III at top center right. Man-o-war Hollandia in underprint. At center, the name of the bank, the value and below the signatures in black in the frame. Watermark at left. Amsterdam and date in black at top in the frame. Value 500 in black at the 4 corners. Signatures: De Secretaris, Delprat / De President, Vissering. Description of the back: Purple and black. Large rosette in background at center. Value 500 at the 2 top corners, Series letters and banknote numbers are printed in red and repeat two time. At right, the text of Law and the watermark. The specimen is known overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red diagonally, numbered "AA 012345-AA 067890" and perforated horizontally "INGETROKKEN 34 5 68".
