Printer: Bradbury Wilkinson & Company, London. Front printing in black, purple and pink and back in purple. Texts in Spanish. Description of the front: two medallions with the value “500” above and below: in the one on the left, an allegory of Culture (chisel and hammer in the hands of women) and on the right, an allegory of the Arts. In the center from top to bottom, the black numbering repeated twice, the issuing institute "EL BANCO DE ESPAÑA", "Pagará al portador (will pay to the bearer)", the value in letters "QUINIENTAS PESETAS", then the place and the date of issue. Three handwritten signatures in black. A single combination of signatures with El Gobernador (The Governor), El Interventor (The Comptroller) and El Cajero (The Cashier). Counterfoils left and right with "BANCO DE ESPAÑA" in vertical. Description of the back: purple security frame and background made up of small guilloche patterns with the value "500" at the top and bottom in the center.
