In the background, a view of the Friday Mosque and the port of Moroni. The texts are in French. The label "ISSUING INSTITUTE OF COMOROS" and the value in figures are printed in dark green on the upper border. The value in letters is printed in red. The signatures and numbering are printed in black. Only one type of signature with General Manager Claude Panouillot and The Chairman of the Board of Directors Mikidache Abdoul Rahim. Description of the back: texts in French and Arabic. In the center in an oval medallion, a portrait of President Said Mohamed Cheikh wearing a fez and sash. On the right, a composition of local fruits and on the left, fish and shells on a stylized sea. Article 139 of the penal code is printed at the bottom in three lines in a light yellow frame.
