No security thread. Front: probably printed in purple. On the front: the value “5000” is repeated in purple in the upper corners of the note. English numbering provided. Signatures, values in letters and labels are printed in purple. In the center of the bill, a Marianne symbolizing the Republic, advances over the rubble of the war towards the future ... a torch in the left hand and a flag in the right hand. Two signatures: The Chief Executive Officer: André Diethelm and The Chairman of the Supervisory Board: René Pleven. On the back: not known. Banknote not issued remained in the draft state. The only known document comes from the WPM. The note is identical to the 5000 francs Liberty Type 1943 not issued provided by the Central Treasury for France!
