At the top, the words "BANK OF THE REPUBLIC OF MALI" are printed in dark red on a frieze. On the left, the watermark. The banknote number and issue date are printed in black. The letter value and signatures are printed in dark red in the center and below a rose in dark red. In the center, a plowing scene with two peasants and their two oxen pulling the plow.
