Full color front and back print, predominantly green, brown and red. Description of the front: security background composed of small rehearsing caravels. In the center, a rosette with the texts in dark green. Below, a red-orange seal with the head of "Medusa". On the right in dark dark green, a Christopher Columbus portrait (1451-1506). On the left, the watermark hidden in wavy lines. The banknote number and signatures are printed in black. The value “5000” is printed on the left in a green rosette. Three combinations of signatures with The Governor and The Cashier. Description of the back: a view of the Santa Maria caravel at sea with the value "5000" printed in a compass rose with a fish above it. Bottom right, the text of the penal code printed in a rosette. The specimen is known overloaded "CAMPIONE" in red diagonally and numbered "A0000 000000". Replacement note with the W series.
