Watermark: Buffalo head pattern. Material: Paper. 13-mm holographic stripe. Windowed security thread with demetalized Arabic text. Printer: Bank of Algeria. Multicolored front and back printing, predominantly red and orange. Description of the front: Texts in Arabic: "Bank of Algeria" and "Thousand dinars". Prefix and numbering in black. Rock paintings of Tassili representing a herd of animals. Head of a buffalo. A combination of signatures with the Governor, Mohamed Laksaci and the Director General of the Public Treasury, Mustapha Guerdoud. Description of the back: Paintings of antelope in a cave of Hoggar.
