Bahrain. Bahrain Monetary Agency. 1993 Issues. Banknote identical to Pick # 17 but with the shield of the coat of arms in red and not in brown. Date: ١٩٧٣ (1973). Introduction: March 1993. Dimensions: 142 x 71 mm. Watermark: Antelope head (Arabian Oryx). Material: Paper. Thin windowed security thread. Printer: Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited (TDLR), London, England. Multicolored front and back printing, predominantly purple and brown. Description of the front: Background made up of arabesques and guilloche patterns. Texts in Arabic. Prefix and horizontal and vertical numbering in black and red. Map on the left. The Bahraini coat of arms shield in the center is in red. Blind weaver of the Bani Jamra Village Handicraft Centre. Only one signature combination in black with the Chairman / Prime Minister: Scheikh Khalifa bin Sulman al Khalifa. “١/٢” value in the angles. Description of the back: Texts in English. Aerial view of the aluminum foundry in Alba on the left. Value "1/2" in the corners.
