Printer: Thomas De La Rue & Company Limited, London. Yellow solid security thread. Material: Paper. Multicolored front and back printing. Description of the front: On the right, a portrait of HRH Elizabeth II. Frame composed of guilloche shapes. In the upper left corner is a jade head. Below, a lobster (Panulirus argus), native to Belize waters. In the center, an underwater scene with a school of fish, the Belize coat of arms and a silver fish in the lower left corner. Series and numbering printed in red. Texts in English. On the right is the transparent element which, when held up to the light, forms the complete design of a blue marlin. Combinations of signatures with Commissioners of Currency. Description of the back: Underwater reef scene. Among the corals and fishes illustrated are: the Star coral, Montastrea cavernosa, the Sea fan, Gorgonia ventalina, the Elkhorn coral, Acropora palmate, two species of the Brain coral, Deploria spp, the Smallmouth grunt, Haemulon chrysargyreum, the Nassau grouper, Epinephelus striatus, the Jackknife-fish, Equetus lanceolatus, the Atlantic Spade fish, Diploria chaetodipterus and the Coral crab, Carpilius corallinus.
