Printers: Thomas De La Rue and Company, London and Korea Minting and Security Printing. Solid security thread. Material: Paper. Front and back printing predominantly purple. Description of the front: on the left, the coat of arms of the royal government in a circle. In the center, a conch (Dungkar), one of the eight auspicious symbols. On the right, a profile portrait of 4th King Jigme Singye Wangchuck wearing a raven crown. “Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan” written in Dzongkha. Series and numbering printed in black. Texts in Dzongkha. Two combinations of signatures. Description of the back: texts in English. View of Paro Rinpung Dzong, a Buddhist fortified monastery.
