Printers: Waterlow & Sons Limited and Thomas De La Rue & Company, London. Solid security thread. Material: Paper. Multicolored front and back printing, predominantly red, yellow and brown. Description of the front: Frame made up of guilloche shapes. View of the Niger River and its shores bordered by palm trees and lush vegetation. Series, signatures and numbering printed in black. Texts in English and Arabic. Several combinations of signatures with members of the Currency Board. Description of the back: Texts in English. Five workers harvesting cacao pods. In the foreground, a man cuts cocoa pods with a machete.
