Printer: Banque de France. Multicolored front and back printing in intaglio or lithography. Description of the front: texts in French. Frame decorated with multicolored geometric patterns. Numbering and series in black. In the foreground on the left, a cowherd wirth large straw hat and two animals from his herd. Combinations of signatures with the Chief Executive Officer and a Censor: Claude Panouillot / Boulou Diouedi. Description of the back: frame composed of multicolored decorative patterns. In the center, two shirtless men carry bunches of bananas on their heads. In the distance, three cargo ships at anchor in a bay. A truck being loaded. At the top, band with “Federal Republic of Cameroon” and the words “FIVE HUNDRED FRANCS” in red. Law text in French and English lower right.
