Watermark: Antelope head. Printer: Bank of France. No security thread. Multicolored front and back printing predominantly brown and green. Texts in French. Description of the front: Frame made up of repeating geometric shapes. At the top center, the words "CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC" printed in red in a cartouche. Below, the full banknote number printed in black. The value "10000" is printed in red in the upper corners. The signatures, number and serial are printed in black. On the right, a portrait of Jean-Bédel Bokassa in dress uniform and the 7 stars, emblem of the Marshalate. In the center under the watermark, the sword, the cocked hat and the marshal's staff. The value in letters "TEN THOUSAND FRANCS" is printed in red at the bottom center. A single combination of signatures printed in black with "Le Directeur Général (The Chief Officer)", Christian Joudiou and "Un Censeur (Auditor)", Jean-François Ntoutoume Emane.
