Description of the front: Safety background made up of wavy lines symbolizing the waves of the ocean. On the left and according to a mythological legend, Ina holding a coconut in her hands rides the back of a shark in search of the sea god Tinirau. Three-letter prefix and numbering in blue. Texts in English and Māori. Signature of Minister of Finance: Thomas Davis. Description of the back: multicolored printing. Security background composed of geometric patterns and wavy lines. In the center, a pukapuka fishing canoe against a background of Māori designs. On the right, a wooden sculpture of the God Te-Rongo represented with a penis! "6th Festival of the Pacific Arts ..." in black at left with a seal (boat and stars).
