Description of the front: Seated Britannia with shield and laurel leaf at left. Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II at right. Guilloche patterns. Series and numbering printed in black. Texts in English: "I promise to pay the Bearer on Demand the sum of Ten Pounds" in text at centre. Signature: J. Q. Hollom, J. S. Fforde or J. B. Page (Chief Cashier). Description of the back: Lion holding key and chain in paw. Guilloche patterns and rosettes. Replacement notes with prefix M.
