Description of the front: Ornate crowned vignette of Britannia top left. Series and numbering printed in black. Texts in English: "Promise to pay to Bearer on Demand the sum of Ten Shillings" in text at centre. Signature: K. O. Peppiatt (Chief Cashier). Description of the back: English text. Guilloche patterns. Acanthus leaf swirls. Replacement notes with prefix T##D.
