Artwork by Robert Kalina of the National Bank of Austria and German graphic designer Reinhold Gershtetter. Date: 2002. Dimensions: 147 x 82 mm. Material: Paper. Watermark: Baroque colonnaded porch. The printing was distributed to 17 European printers whose code is recognizable by the first letter of the number printed on the front. Texts in French and Greek. Multicolored front and back printing predominantly green. Description of the front: On the right, a baroque-style colonnaded porch with a pediment in the center of 12 stars, emblem of the European Union. In the upper left corner, the European flag in blue. Three combinations of signatures in blue from the President of the European Central Bank: Willem F. Duisenberg (Pick # 5), Jean-Claude Trichet (Pick # 12)or Mario Draghi (Pick # 18). Numerous security features: watermark, foil stripe, colour-shifting ing, iridescent stripe, foil patch and security thread with demetalized 100 EURO. Description of the back: A map of Europe and the following islands: Azores, Canary Islands, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Madeira, Martinique and Réunion. On the left side, a view of a typical 18th century bridge made up of basket-handle arches. The 11-digit black numbering begins with a letter indicating the country of issue (U for France, D for Estonia ...).
