Multicolored front and back printing, predominantly brown, yellow, green and pink. Description of the front: Background made up of stylized seaweed. Red diagonal overprint on a 10 kroner banknote from Denmark (Pick # 31c): "KUN GYLDIG PAA FAERØERNE, FAERØ AMT, JUNI 1940". Handwritten signature in red of the Prefect, Carl Aage Hilbert. Texts in Danish. Prefix and numbering in black. Description of the back: Head of Mercury in profile in the center. Three lions and small hearts on a background of flowers. Texts in Danish.
