Watermark: Stylized leaves and 50 Danmarks Nationalbank. Material: Paper. No security thread. Printer: Banknote printing Works. Multicolored front and back printing, predominantly brown, yellow, green. Description of the front: Background made up of hops and in the center three fishermen picking up their nets. Red diagonal overprint on the 50 kroner banknote from Denmark (Pick # 22 and # 27): "KUN GYLDIG PAA FAERØERNE, FAERØ AMT, JUNI 1940". Signature printed in red of the prefect, Carl Aage Hilbert. Texts in Danish. Prefix and numbering in black. Description of the back: Coat of arms of Denmark. Background composed of oak branches. Texts in Danish.
