Work by Clément Serveau and engraving by Émile Deloche for the front and work by Roque and engraving by Rita for the back. No date. Dimensions: 180 x 90 mm. Watermark: Native's head in profile. Material: Paper. Printer: Bank of France. Polychrome front and back printing predominantly blue, yellow and red. Description of the front: Texts in French. Background and frame composed of vegetation and stylized plants. At the center of the upper edge, the wording "BANQUE DE L'INDOCHINE" is printed in a light green cartouche. On the right, an allegory of France represented by a woman wearing a crown of oak leaves and wheat and with ribbons in her hair. On the left, an oval medallion contains the watermark. In the center, the value in letters and the words "PAYABLE IN CASH TO THE PORTER" are printed in black. Below, the "DJIBOUTI" overprint is printed in black. The numbering and alphabet are printed in black in small cartridges and repeated at the top and bottom of the composition. A combination of signatures with "Le President", Paul Baudouin and "Le Directeur Général Adjoint", Jean Laurent. Description of the back: Background made up of floral motifs and graphic shapes. In the center, the value in figures is printed in black in a vertical frame. On the left, a green and yellow peacock sits on a flowering shrub and four butterflies fly around it. Article 139 of the penal code is printed in brown on five lines in a scrolling banner at the bottom right. On the left, in a yellow vertical cartridge, the overprint “DJIBOUTI” is tilted vertically and printed in red. The "red disc" note is known only in specimen, with or without cancellation perforations. Numbering 0.000 - 000 and a cashier number in Indian ink is often inscribed next to Ceres' face on the front.
