Printer: VEB Wertpapierdruckerei, Leipzig. Multicolored front and back printing, predominantly pink, black and olive green. Description of the front: Frame and background composed of guilloche patterns. Texts in German. Letter and numbering in red. Value "5" in the corners and in a decorated rosette on the right. No signature. Description of the back: Texts in German. Frame and background composed of guilloche patterns. Value in letters "FÜNF" in the center and the value "5" in rosettes on the sides. Replacement note with Prefix Y or Z.
