Multicolored front and back printing, predominantly blue. Description of the front: frame and background made up of arabesques. Prefix and numbering in black. Texts in Arabic. "١٠٠٠" value in the corners. Two combinations of signatures with the Treasurer General (unknown) and the Governor. Description of the back: bowl with fish in a medallion, hut, camel and the minaret of Chinguetti. Texts in French. Value "1,000" in the corners.
