Solid security thread with printed "Central Bank of Mauritania". Holographic patch with denomination in Arabic numerals "٥٠٠٠". Printer: Giesecke & Devrient, Germany. Multicolored front and back printing, predominantly olive green and ocher. Description of the front: frame and background made up of arabesques. The great Ibn Abbas Mosque in the capital, Nouakchott. Watermark on the left. Prefix and numbering in black. Texts in Arabic. "٥٠٠٠" value in the corners. Only one combination of signatures with the Treasurer General and the Governor: Mohamad Ould Sidna and Sid Ahmed Ould Raiss. Description of the back: unloading iron ore in the port of Nouadhibou and a SNIM ore train in the center. Texts in French. Value "5,000" in the corners.
