Identical front and back printing in monochrome predominantly light bleu. Description of the front: Background made up of arabesques, stylized leaves and the seal of the Banque de la Nouvelle-Calédonie, which can be found in a black medallion on the left. The value "100" is repeated in the lower corners. All banknotes are Series A. The serial number is printed on the lower left in black. In the center, the issuing institute “Établissement de Nouméa”, the decree “Issuance of Bank Notes Authorized by decree dated July 14, 1874”, the words “It will be paid on sight and to bearer” and the value “HUNDRED FRANCS In black letters. Below, the date of creation: Nouméa, on ... 18: the day, the month and the last two digits of the year are added by composter in black.
