New Caledonia. Company of New Caledonia. Noumea branch. 1874-1875 Issues. Dimensions: 136 x 88 mm. Watermark: No. Printer: Banque of France. Identical front and back printing in monochrome predominantly green. Description of the front: Background made up of arabesques, stylized leaves and the seal of the Company of New Caledonia which can be found in a black medallion on the left. The value "20" is repeated in the lower corners. All banknotes are Series A. The serial number is printed on the lower left in black. In the center, the issuing institute "Succursale de Nouméa", the words "Il sera payé à vue et au porteur (It will be paid on sight and to bearer)" and the value "TWENTY FRANCS" in black letters. Below, the date of creation: Nouméa, on ... 18: the day, the month and the last two digits of the year are added by composter in black. Three handwritten signatures in black from the Director, Marchand and two Administrators, Digeon and Montefiore. Back side printed identically. Very rare note.
