On the sides, a composition of rosettes and the portrait of HRH Queen Elizabeth II to the right. Combination of signatures with the Currency Commissioners: Philip Edward Aldous, Simon Gillett and George Carter Lawrence. Value "£1" in the corners. Description of the back: texts in English. Coat of arms of the East India Company represented by two lions, two English flags and a shield.
