Arab dhow boat on see at left. Nine workers harvesting clove tree with rudimentary ladder at right. Texts in Arabic, English and Gujarati. Series and numbering in dark brown. English texts: The Zanzibar Government / Promises to pay the bearer / on Demand the Sum of / Five hundred rupees. One combination of signatures with Chief Secretary, John Houston Sinclair and Treasurer, James Corbett Davis. No back: Uniface note. Demonetized in 1936.
