As grading offers a guarantee of authenticity, the price of grading a banknote is mainly based on the declared value of the banknote concerned.

PMG requires one submission per fare type. One submission for Modern and another for Economy for example. PMG charges a processing fee of €15 for each submission (in addition to the banknote grading price).
