Central Bank of Belize  (1997-2002)

The Central Bank of Belize is committed to maintaining the public’s confidence in the Belize currency. This upgraded issue contains features that make it easy to check the authenticity of the note, hence deterring counterfeiters. In 1998, the Central Bank of Belize, as a commitment to the continuous enhancement of the security of the country’s banknotes, upgraded the 1990 issue to contain features that makes it easy to check the authenticity of the note, hence making it more secure against counterfeiting.
