Bank of Canada (2001-2006)
The Canadian Journey Issue. This series is characterized above all by the appearance of new sophisticated security features: The reflective security strip, the watermark portrait, raised inks, the puzzle number, the security thread or Braille indentations were added to the top right corner of the face ... For the first time, the new banknotes are entirely computer-generated. Only portraits are still treated in traditional engraving. Canadians are also consulted to define the topics that best represent the "Canadian Journey". The technical and artistic quality of this issue was recognized and rewarded by the International Bank Note Society (IBNS) who will attribute the prestigious "Banknote of the Year 2004" award to the $ 20 bill!
