The 7th wonder of the Banque of France
Following a very brief but very rewarding trip to the provinces, we brought you some nice surprises! To begin with, we are pleased to present the 7th copy of the mythical date of September 4, 1941 for the 50 francs Type 1941 Jacques Cœur (Ref. Fayette-Dessal: # F.19.13 or Pick: # 93). The note is numbered "S.114-25036" and is in VF grade.

(2) Banknote originally cut in half and reconstituted by adhesive tape. Sold for € 2000 by l'Art des Gents in 2010. 2nd copy known at the time ... Banknote restored since, but we do not have the photo.
