After the Bank of Italy banknotes a few days ago, another large country is now entering the Numizon catalog with a total of 104 banknotes representing more than a century of banknotes issued in the Netherlands. From the Kingdom of Netherlands banknotes (Koninkrijk der Nederlanden) to the banknotes issued by the Bank of the Netherlands (De Nederlandsche Bank), from 10 gulden Type 1878-1894 to 1000 gulden Type 1994 Kievit, quickly discover all these vignettes illustrated by the places, the symbols and the personalities that have marked the history of the Batavian country.

Bank of the Netherlands
The central bank of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (in Dutch: De Nederlandsche Bank NV, DNB) was founded on March 25, 1814 by King William I. It is part of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). The bank has the statutes of a joint stock company in which the Dutch State is the sole shareholder. The bank's headquarters are located in Amsterdam (Source: Wikipedia).

The catalog of the Netherlands is unfortunately not yet complete. There are 20 19th century banknotes from before 1878, most of which are very rare. We therefore decided to add them later to the catalog. Here is the list:
