This is the South African Reserve Bank ten Pounds note issued 14 April 1943. The banknote is brown on multi-colored underprint. The front displays a ship with its sails fully open and full of air in the harbor, boats ferrying goods to the shore, men carrying goods, a woman tending a fire, men herding cattle, railroad crossing a bridge and a factory with smoking stacks.
